Much of Act 10's labor law is ruled unconstitutional by a Dane County circuit judge.

IIRC, this overturn affects City & County workers, but not State workers, as they weren't a party to the suit brought forward.

Walker, of course, defaults to "activist judge" rhetoric.

Dane County is quite Liberal relative to the rest of the state. So it will likely be appealed.

I don't care for judicial activism even a little because I think a narrow interpretation of the law based on precedent preserves Personal Liberty

That said, I also don't like laws that usurp the peoples right to act in their own best interests.

Sparrow,..........A well made point ! !

You've often become the voice of reason here on the ol' 'Cooler .

The state Supreme Court has already ruled once on this, which is why some are bringing out the "activist judge" tagline. It's already been declared constitutional once,

Somehow, I'm not sure they'll be too amused to have their judgement questioned two months after their initial ruling...

The timing is quite transparent: Romney has been leading in the polls in Wisconsin, and this will hopefully re-energize the Democrat base who has sat back and watched "their" state be taken over by a more conservative majority than they wanted to admit was present.
