    Could AA buy AS?

Short answer no, I do not believe the DOJ would allow it with the concentration there is now. Alaska is doing a well enough job holding off Delta.

    It's official!

Any word on how the "no" voters are spinning this? I read some blub somewhere the "no" voters were stating the case was not presented  to the arbitrator correctly and it was rushed.

US Airways Flight 1702. It looks like there is more to the story

What actually caused the computer to state "retard", what actually was wrong? On another note, I see why pilots prefer the B737 to A320s. I know computers add another layer of safety, but man, unless its CAT3 ops why does the computer care what runway you about to take off from?

We (frequent flyers) have Ipads, Iphones , Bose QC15s, and on board wife, we don't need AVOD.............Domestic.

    It's official!

So after 36 pages, I surmise that the FA's voted down a segment leading (?) contract due to the fact it did not have profit sharing? And now they expect the arbitrator to give them a "better" contract than one negotiated?..............And some here thinks that good? I can see how would split the...

Tulsa will be gone by February 2014

How much does USAir outsource now? What role will Tulsa serve in a fleet full of new airplanes not in need of a D check for awhile?.............Serious questions.

    Behold........The first AA A319

From Airliners.net http://www.airliners.net/aviation-forums/general_aviation/read.main/5796515/ Please tell me there is rumor going around that DP is going to change this livery when US/AA merge.

The new AAG has 22 Airbus A350 on order for 2017 delivery

Apparently many airlines are finding the 787/A350 pairing to be just the ticket. The 787s are replacing the A330s and 767s and the A350s are replacing the 747s and older 777s. So the fact that AA will have both in its fleet is not surprising. I would be surprised to see AA upgauge to the...

    American Airlines rebranding ‘very soon’

At least the NWA had a contemporary looking red tail, the tail on the new livery.......................I am still speechless.

    American Airlines rebranding ‘very soon’

If AA was going for the Northwest airlines low maintenance livery look, they should have went all the way.

    American Airlines rebranding ‘very soon’

Some things should not change and AA's livery was one of them.
