2 Cool

Very cool. I have done that approach and landing several times...in the DC-10, 747-400, and A-320 sims at NATCO in MSP.

Hand landing the DC-10 in fog was much harder than that one looked in the A-380. I bounced her hard.

Thanks Dell.

We had a '37 one time line up an approach on a Sears parking lot out KC and took out a high tension wire on the leading edge to boot. I think it was a check ride too.

Fed's must make them nervous....LOL

Being as we all pretty much hail from the flying experience one way or another.....maybe it would be a cool thing to post related video's we all love. Maybe a video thread akin to a Word Association sort of endeavor?

Dad flew ASW. He flew the STOOF (S-2 Tracker) off of the Ticonderoga back in the late '60's in The Gulf of Tonkin. This is long, but cool.

After the S-2 he went on the the little Hoover's, the S-3 Viking. Cool plane. I remember hearing them across San Diego Bay every morning as they began their daily flight training runs from NAS North Island.
