You know what Bears??? I'm up to my everloving eyeballs with excuses.

The Establishment politicians have us by the balls and we have an entire section of a website devoted to people arguing over who squeezes their nuts harder. As Hillary stated on another topic "At this point does it realy matter"?

I'm sitting home here in declining health, unable to work and I find myself envious of those who can. The I flip on the news to see that we have protestors in the street wanting to enter this country by any means necessary to get benefits that are often higher then mine. How do you suggest I react? Ignore for the moment that  have a great al of difficulty mentally accepting government money, given my philosophy. Stuff I contributed to like SSD and SSI I'm OK with. Same for Medicare (If I live long enough to use it. The rest I don't care for.

I think it will be interesting to see what happens at the polls during the primaries. I'm curious to know if the voters are reflective of the polls. Typically the polls are accurate with a small variance.

Can't have a thread about the GOP circus without the Hillary obsessives losing track of where they are.

Perhaps Trumps popularity will scare en I ugh of the moderates into action. The down side is if Trump us serious enough to take his toys and go independent he will screw the GOP chances of willing 2016.

That's the plan.

None of the current crop of candidates are worthy of the office. Reducing the already weak competition for the position does not serve the countries best interest.

I think the starting point of election reform is getting rid of the electoral college and banning public donations to candidates. Until we get the money out of politics, we will never have fair elections. When it cost somewhere around $1 billion to win the WH you know our interests are not first and foremost.

Cutting Losses, Kochs to Sell Scott Walker

"After co-owner David Koch revealed that Walker had become a wholly owned subsidiary of Koch Industries, he set off a firestorm of criticism that the company had spent too much for a worthless asset."

..."The Kochs, who reportedly had been frustrated by Walker’s poor performance in the polls, finally decided to sell the Wisconsinite after last weekend’s odd pronouncement, in which he seemed to support a border wall with Canada.

According to a Koch associate, “Ignorance has always been a part of Scott’s appeal, but that Canada thing was just too much.”

After their plan to sell him was announced, the Kochs immediately pulled Walker off the campaign trail for fear that he might say something that would further reduce his dwindling market value."

Sooo,

Curious about this Carson fella', after precious comments about his integrity, and did some reading.

Integrity or no, he is unsuitable for office, and probably any position of responsibilit outside the narrow confines of his education/specialty.

Let's call it his craft.

One can teach nearly anyone to operate a spacecraft after all, for example.

When one's ideology or religion demands that one believe and espouse belief in things that we know are not true, or deny those that we know are, it is time for a new idelogy, a new religion, or none - not time to double down on beimg wrong - and we know things now that we didn't use to know.

(And kiddies, that is what god really is, a way to explain the (as yet...) unknown...)

Funny satire piece. Sad part is they really are commodities to be bought and sold to the highest bidder.

It's all relative and perception is reality.

BTW, I'm currently researching becoming an expat in Ecuador and all I'll say is try some of the horseshit that goes on here immigration wise and you'd be deported AFTER spending time in an Ecuadorian Prison. Which is a place you do not want to be.

Ecuador is the place, as far as I can tell, and for now...

Yes, their country, their rules
