since the site has been so quiet lately, and I'm already labelled as a bad apple, I feel no shame in asking a question which is a twist on an old saying....
If a 427 flies in Canada...does anyone really care?

And who is with the Alpine(?red/white?) 212 up in high level area fighting that fire? Who ever it is...I saw you on TV tonight. Although the machine looked and sounded good, the cute reporter was even better.

Hey mags had a beer with both drivers of that machine, ALK, the other day in high levell and they are both members here. but youre gonna have to wait to see if they care to tell you who they are, and I wouldnt hold my breath.😀

They were just disgusted with the whole works, and like many lately, they just got tired of constantly trying to defend themselves and are choosing to do something else with their time. It seems alot of the more active posters are just choosing not get involved anymore.
Alot of expeirence lost there.

it may just be me, but I find that a bit selfish and hope nobody takes any offence to that. I'm always willing to defend my choice of words, and I can bet that some take things like that the wrong way as well. There has only been two guys that I really have bumped heads with alot, and I was never alone.
I've never been in a discussion about anything where two paths didn't collided at some point. And in my mind, the real men stand up for themselves, it's more childish to take your toys out of the sandbox and go home.
Sure there has been some name calling (and other low blows) at points, but that is always a last resort when things get out of control. With three or four active moderators it's no surpise that things can and will get out of hand on occasion.
I wish that the experience and knowledge would take precedence and once again be the pime topic in here.

However, him and I buried the hatchet thru e-mails after the fact. If this is not the case, then the story you are helping fester is truly not the one I was aware of, and there is something going on behind the scenes. I believe he isn't the cause of them.
