A President who tells you what you NEED to hear

That's what most people say is what they need in a leader: Someone who won't tell them what they want to hear, but what they have to hear.

Is Obama this type of President?

*** He told black men in South Carolina that they need to "stop acting like boys'' and face up to parental responsibilities

*** He has talked up tougher emissions standards in Detroit

*** He went to the Nasdaq Stock to chastise Wall Street executives over tax loopholes and their "what's good for me is good enough'' mentality

I find this to be admirable among candidates. Do you have examples of other candidates who tell their constituents what they NEED to hear rather than what they want to hear?

I am sure there are others who have told us what we needed to hear but I think the even rarer trait is someone who actually follows through on what they said. Obama talks a good talk but the proof will be if he gets elected, will he follow through on what he has said. If he is half as sincere as he seems, he has my vote, at least as of right now.
