Speaking of JFK, I just read that the airport regained top honors for most passenger enplanements among the three NYC metro airports in 2002. It also mentioned that jetBlue was the #1 domestic airline at JFK with over 5 million passengers enplaned last year. Not too shabby for an airline that only had an average fleet size of 30 airplanes in 2002.
