No one taking inventory in my shop!! Yet!

And there won't be unless it's someone who works for or was hired by AA to see what equipment is un-needed and thus can be sold or auctioned off. It's all done on paper and submitted to the Judge - the Judge and everyone else has better things to do than go around doing an inventory of every AA asset no matter how small or of little value. Like every bankruptcy for a company of any size, AA listed the value of assets in the bankruptcy filing. There won't be a list that says how many paperclips there are in RDU, CLT, etc.

Just a bit of levity there on my part Jim!

I would be interested in knowing, as far as their maintenance ops. are concerned what they list as assets.. I do know AFW is leased and a large portion of the Tulsa base is owned by the city..

<_< ------ I'd be really concerned if I was working at AFW today!

I would think things like tail docks, spare parts (especially more expensive ones), spare engines, special tooling, and that kind of thing. At some point AMR will file a statement of assets but don't expect to see line items for things like pencils, pens, nuts, washers, etc.

I am trying to find out what American owns of the TUL Maintenance Base and what Tulsa owns.....

Buck:

You are looking for Tulsa Trust Items. These are the items at TULE that the city of Tulsa owns. I used to inventory the TTI annually for my shop.

I can't help you there. Generally speaking buildings (including hangers) and other permanent fixtures (like the associated ramp space) on the airport property are leased by the airline, just like terminal facilities, gate ramp space, baggage handling space, ticket counter space, etc. However, I can't say without a doubt that that is the case in TUL or any other AA maintenance facility.

AA leases everything in Tulsa except for two owned facilities, TUL APU Facility at 6650 East Apache and Tulsa Composite Shop/Warehouse at 11711 East Pine Street. It's all in Bella Goren's affidavit:
