I have been told on several occasions that Eagle will NOT remain in Boston, after the Spin Off.
(This from my daughter who has several AA friends who work in Boston)

That's true - leaving BOS is required by the APA scope clause if AMR no longer owns its regional carrier. Eagle can fly BOS-hubs as long as it's owned by AMR but not if it's independent.

That's why BOS-JFK gets three daily 738s in the fall schedule, if I remember correctly.

JFK-BOS had one daily mainline for years even with Eagle/Business Express service. Now there will be three.

Thus why BOS-JFK is going to 3x daily mainline and BOS-YYZ is being dropped entirely (and Delta is coming in to back-fill, incidentally).
