What does the "T#" stand for?
And is your seniority date referring to the most junior person who was boarded?

Ticketless Travel... the USAirways East database moves your info into an SSR with your employee #, sequence, and DOH. Those without "T" require a paper ticket or an electronic ticket.

The seniority date determines your place on the list. The only flights I saw some "senior mammas" on were the hub-to-hub flights.

The number to the left is their location the PALL list... everyone else was a revenue passenger - upgrade, oversell, volunteer, or standby.

So if everyone got on the flight why would you be against first come first serve? According to your thinking everyone would get on so it doesnt matter what system we end up with. Therefore, simce it doesnt matter why dont you support fcfs?

HUM? I say FCFS........ But MOst of not all WEST employees want FCFS..... I've personally tried the SEN. System of the EAST and got bumped 6 times from three flights.... FCFS all the way........

I tried it like DOUG SAID: SEN Boarding... SUCKS......

I honestly don't care how we go... seniority allows better planning though.

Case in point: the hotel I stay in Belize doesn't have phone lines (for guests) and the nearest computer point is the next island over -- so how can I check in 12 hours in advance there, while someone staying at the Radisson Ft. George or at a "real" resort can check-in ahead of me.

Get a International Phone? One Point? And how many times are you going to be in Europe without a Cyber Cafe... I had plenty in Panama/and Costa Rica and Columbia when I was down visiting friends? ;) Just a thought? ? ? :D

P.S. Glad you have an open mind about FCFS :)

ANTI FCFS.

Just got a new girl in our office. She used to work in the terminal. From agent all the way to the office there. She assured me that the list CAN be tampered in the current system. Unless and until there is absolutely no friggin way to screw with the system, DOH is the best.

Seniority is easy. What date were you hired? After you....

And you SHOULD be bumped. YOU ARE JUNIOR. YOU should be LAST.

I have flown a couple hundred of flights as a non-rev....and the last time I got bumped because of seniority was....you know what, I can't remember, it has been a LONG time.

I live in vegas and commute to PHL. I'll tell ya that the flights are FULL, FULL, FULL. Flights all over our system to even the hokiest of towns are full. FCFS or seniority...hell it doesn't seem to matter. I have tried both and being in the 8-10 year mark im fine with either way. Really, we have MUCH more important things to worry about and come together to make it happen. I'm talking about our contract negotiations. The company CAN and WILL do whatever they choose. Let's unite to stand FIRM and make sure we have a contract for all of us to work under as flight attendants and hell for that matter all the other groups.

ON the EAST system... Yeah... I got bumped... Thank God I was a FA ... It was the only way I got back to PHX... To work...
However... On the west SIDe... I have never not got on a flight... EVER........... So I am am FCFS... That's why we are for FCFS... Its FAIR.... F. A. .I  .R. !!!! :D

But thats my feeling.... and your freind what dept do they work in? ? ?
Anything can be messed with even Sen. It has been done I am sure..... All you need to know is a freind who knows a friend who knows a freind....
