Air Canada Stupidity

I have a ticket from YYC-YVR Honolulu for Thursday with AC. I also have the unfortunate occurrurence to have to attend a funeral in YVR on Tuesday, so logically, I'll just catch the YVR-Honolulu flight and write-off the YYC-YVR portion, Right ? NOT !!! , If I don't check in at YYC on Thursday AM, I loose the ENTIRE return ticket to Honolulu!

What a crock of Sheite ! I allow AC a chance to double sell the YYC-YVR portion of the ticket, but they refuse, and threaten my whole trip.

So WESTJET is getting my extra money to fly me BACK to YYC so I can fly to YVR and onward with AC.

AC, may you go broke...you deserve it on sheer stupidity !

I'd say "I can't beleive they wouldn't let you cancel 1 leg of your trip" but does it really surprise you, it always seems to be one complaint after another with this outfit.

Mrs. Rosco just got back from YVR and they wanted her to connect in YYC coming from YQT with approx 7 min. connection time onto YVR.....she rebooked on WJ after being told that it shouldn't be a problem to make the connection if she ran!

I gotta agreed with your sentiments.
