Last year roughly 49 or so airports were awarded grants for new service to small communities/underserved markets under the AIR 21 bill. My question is, are these grants going to be issued every year for a period of years or was it one year only? I''ve heard both...but just want to get a clear understanding.
If it is for more than one year, do the airports wishing to receive such funds have to refile their petitions or do they just look at their previous filing?
