Airline mix-up sends wrong bodies to two funerals

Defend this one WT.

The mix-up apparently came as the caskets were being sent via the same Delta flight out of New York LaGuardia. That's where WLTX reports that Delta shipping clerks "apparently put the wrong shipping labels on the caskets."

what's to defend?... they screwed up, acknowledged it, apologized, and are working to make it right.

interesting to note the difference in reaction between the two families: one is getting all worked up while the other is "taking it in stride."

Some people clearly know how to forgive and move on while others do not.

I really don't know anymore than what's already been posted... You and I aren't likely to see anything on the employee website, either, since that would go against keeping up appearances and all.

No, we know people occasionally f**k up. That'll happen when you're hiring pool is restricted only to humans.

What we also know is that having actual DL employees perform the work provides for more accountability, if nothing else.
