Airline workers sick of getting unfair share

A recent behavioral study demonstrated that animals understand and react to the concept of fairness. In the study, monkeys were given unequal rewards for completing equal tasks. The result was groundbreaking. The monkey receiving the lesser of the two rewards ceased participation in the activity after observing the unfair treatment.

Yes, an important distinction between 'lifelong' and 'loyal' employees --- and no executive, not even Jack Welch (who BTW, loathed overweight employees and had many issues with women and loyalty...) is worth millions$$ to retain as an employee.

However, it is a demand-market. If the execs (or employees or customers) can get the price they want then hooray for them!
 
Just as disturbing as all of those points is the fact that someone had to actually fund and conduct a study where they jerked monkeys around in order to reach such a friggin' obvious conclusion. Jeeze, they could have just asked someone.
