The only way we can save the AMT profession now is for ALL unions that are representing technicians; that work for part 121, 135 carriers and transport category 145 repair stations, is to wise up and realize that there is strength in numbers. They've got to swallow their pride and step up to the plate. There's no reason why each union can't throw a little money into the pot and form a new union with a serious goal of truly representing all technicians. They've got to stop thinking about their six figure incomes before all the work is contracted out to non-union repair stations. Who can stop the unions from coming together? The government? Who's going to stop the loss of jobs to repair stations that have a high percentage of non-licensed people? If the general public new of the hypocrisies that are going on in this industry right now they'd never fly again.Seguro, what power do we have with the afl-cio? The power to form an anti-AMFA campaign? As for power in numbers which has more power? 10000 ditch diggers or 100 scientists? (Crude analogy. Try not to spin this for other than I intend.)Seguro said:You have that power with the AFL-CIO, and I agree "power in numbers".
......AND YOU KEEP SMOKIN' THAT twscrew MONKEY GRASS 🙄Your_Ex-Wife said:Kenny....again send $$$$...kids hungry. You will never be a craft union, nor will you ever be more democratic than the TWU. Your dreams are bigger, but your results are smaller.
