Sen. Inhofe Wants To Ease 'Desperation' Of Pilots Faced With FAA 'Overreach

No I do not care that he is a republican and not a dem. This is just another example of a member of Congress abusing their power but 1. going after a sanctioning body when they come oafter the COngress man for wrong doing and 2. getting away with illegal activity.

I know a few pilots and was told in no uncertain terms terms that had a 'normal' civilian pulled that stunt that they would have received a certified letter the next day from the FAA telling them that their license was suspended and to stay out the drivers seat on any aircraft until the investigation is concluded.

Congress is disgusting.

I cant find the link but I think I read that he has done this before. It's the same mentality that allowed Clinton to feel he was the victim instead of accepting that he should have kept his zipper closed or at the very least, kept his mouth shut after the fact. People are their own worst enemy. I think people in power are the worst. They start to get a god complex and think they are better than the rest of us. They do not believe that rules apply to them as well.
