Another Obamacare Success Story

Yes, there are some big rate increases for some plans in some states
In the more populous states with more people enrolled there are more modest rate increases

The rest of the story...

"HHS, when asked about HealthPocket's analysis, noted that a report released last week by the department found just a 7.2 percent average increase in the price of so-called benchmark plans, the type of silver plans whose price is used to calculate the subsidies that most Obamacare customers receive.

"This rate increase is relatively modest compared to those in the individual market before the Affordable Care Act, when consumers in the individual market regularly experienced double-digit rate increases on average," the HHS report last week said."

You must have missed the part where peoples premiums are going up as high as 66%.

So much for that $2500 savings promised under Obama.

Your move slick.

BaRack-O-Care.......using other peoples money to finance other peoples insurance....got it!

How Socialist of you!

So, youmwill he optimg out of Social Security, MediCare, refuse to drive on the Federal Interstate Highway System, have never taken advantage of federally backed srudent loans or any government programs, refuse to use the home mortgage interest deduction, etc?

All socialist programs, and there are tons more that most people use and feel entitled to.

I guess you're different

'Yes, there are some big rate increases for some plans in some states"

Didn't miss a thing

You did

There are also some going down, and obviously, of some are going up a lot, they weren't charging what they needed to in order to remain solvent

It is still a market driven system

Overall, in the aggregate, costs are rising slower than they were before ACA, and thst was the goal

Of course, that doesn't fit on a bumper sticker

We'll see...

Is too soon to tell, and yes it will be modified and fixed and change, now that the GOP has finally decided to join the real world and ease back into their responsibily to govern.

Instead of polluting the Carson thread, why not use this one for the ACA (Obamacare) posts.

Down fret Pete, Libtard Demorats will just reach deeper into the taxpayers pockets to insure ObamaScare doesn't go belly up.
Of course BaRack, by making people poorer, by reading into said pockets, will have hit another one of his goals.......turning the U.S. into a 2nd rate nation!
