This is why news in this country should not be trusted to give you the truth without them adding their bias.
Truth will always come in second to money.

NEW YORK (CNN/Money) - Sinclair Broadcast Group, owner of the largest chain of television stations in the nation, plans to air a documentary that accuses Sen. John Kerry of betraying American prisoners during the Vietnam War, a newspaper reported Monday.
The rest of the article here.

Wouldn't it be a blast if they were forced to air Fahrenheit 911 in rebuttal.

😀

EVERY SINGLE ONE broadcasted Moores lies  , which I know were lies because I've been to Iraq and I've talked to the soldiers. you reap what you sew

which television stations broadcast Moore's movie ?

None have or will broadcast it... that's because it's not based on any truth. But there were certainly a few that promoted it!

Does running commercials for a movie equate to showing a movie or imply support for that movie?

And what parts of Fahrenheit 911 do you feel were untrue?

If any of those who purport to refute his movie were able to provide the references to back up their claims as he had provided the references to back up his, I would be willing to listen. So far none have done that. If simply saying someone is lying because you don't like what they're saying is enough for you, then I feel sorry for you.

Incidentally, my oldest son tells me that Fahrenheit 911 sold out at his base BX the first day.

That article dis-proves its own statments

FAHRENHEIT 9/11: “The inauguration parade was brought to a halt and the traditional walk to the White House was scrapped.â€￾

Bush's limo, which traveled most of the route at a slow walking pace, stopped dead just before it reached the corner of 14th St. and Pennsylvania Ave., where most of the protesters had congregated. Then it sped up dramatically, and Secret Service agents protecting the car on foot had to follow at a full run. When they reached a section of the parade route where the sidewalks were restricted to official ticketholders, Bush and his wife, Laura, who wore a flattering electric turquoise suit, got out of the limo to walk and greet supporters.

The Quote says he didn't get out and walk, the souces says he did. go figure

Then you have this one.
Make sure the chairman of your campaign is also the vote countin’ woman

Catherine Harris did not count votes not was she allowed to. She only certified the results that were sent to her. Seems to be a bit of an distortion.

I choose not to go on because it is pointless.

It says the "traditional walk" was scrapped, with Bush opting to bypass demonstrators and only get out and walk where there were paid supporters. At no point in the movie or in the references that support it does it say he did not walk at all.

Catherine Harris did not count votes not was she allowed to. She only certified the results that were sent to her. Seems to be a bit of an distortion.

The complete quote is: "Make sure the chairman of your campaign is also the vote countin’ woman and that her state has hired a company that’s gonna knock voters off the rolls who aren’t likely to vote for you. You can usually tell them by the color of their skin.â€

Michael Moore offers these references to back up his statements:

“The vote total was certified by Florida's secretary of state, Katherine Harris, head of the Bush campaign in Florida, on behalf of Gov. Jeb Bush, the candidate's brother.†Mark Zoller Seitz, “Bush Team Conveyed an Air of Legitimacy,†San Diego Union-Tribune, December 16, 2000.

The Florida Department of State awarded a $4 million contract to the Boca Raton-based Database Technologies Inc. (subsidiary of ChoicePoint). They were tasked with finding improperly registered voters in the state’s database, but mistakes were rampant. “At one point, the list included as felons 8,000 former Texas residents who had been convicted of misdemeanors.†St. Petersburg Times (Florida), December 21, 2003.

Database Technologies, a subsidiary of ChoicePoint, “was responsible for bungling an overhaul of Florida’s voter registration records, with the result that thousands of people, disproportionately black, were disenfranchised in the 2000 election. Had they been able to vote, they might have swung the state, and thus the presidency, for Al Gore, who lost in Florida. Oliver Burkeman, Jo Tuckman, “Firm in Florida Election Fiasco Earns Millions from Files on Foreigners,†The Guardian, May 5, 2003 http://www.guardian.co.uk/usa/story/0,12271,949709,00.html. See also, Atlanta-Journal-Constitution, May 28, 2001.

In 1997, Rick Rozar, the late head of the company bought by ChoicePoint, donated $100,000 to the Republican National Committee. Melanie Eversley, “Atlanta-Based Company Says Errors in Felon Purge Not Its Fault,†Atlanta Journal-Constitution, May 28, 2001. Frank Borman of Database Technologies Inc. has donated extensively to New Mexico Republicans, as well as to the Presidential campaign of George W. Bush. Opensecrets.org, “Frank Borman.â€

Catherine Harris, as Florida Secretary of State, was responsible for hiring the company that tallied the Florida results and was responsible for certifying their results. Did you expect her to count the votes herself?

I understand your frustration at not being able to actually refute any of Michael Moore's statements from Fahrenheit 911 but if it depresses you to the point where you 'choose not to go on', perhaps it's best if we drop the subject.

Most of the "hard Core" Bushites will not even watch Fareignheight 9-11, yet they say "its all lies". I ask "Oh so you saw it", they say "No, I wont watch it, why dont you watch "Fareignhype 9-11?", I say "I'll make you a deal, Ill watch "hype" and you watch "height"? Deal? So far only one taker.

How many of you who claim that Moores movie is "all lies" have actually seen it?

I saw Fareignheight 9-11. It was good, It was also good entertainment. I'm still waiting to see Hype. It may be an unfair preasessment but I dont think it will have any of the humorous sarcasm of Moores film.

Maybe they will show a few of Bush's interviews, thats always good for a laugh.

By the way Busdriver one of the guys I work with came back because he was injured, lost part of his eyesight. He said the whole thing was a pointless mess over there.

Its obvious why they choose not to go on.
