Anti-kerry Film Sparks Dnc Response

guess I mention that because up until 24 days before they filed bankruptcy, the general public...the fund managers handling money for retirement funds...and the EMPLOYEES of the company were told that the stock was "a steal" at these prices

And all of that was based on Fraud. What they were doin was illegal and they are going to jail for it. Just because they did it doesn't make it right, and just because they did it, doesn't mean that other companies are doing it. Because what was going on was illegal, should mean that you exclude it when trying to make your point, but I guess not.

What record did Bush have to run on in 2000?

What, is this 2000 again, is Gore out there running off at the mouth again? Are the dems out there using scare tacticts because they can't get people to believe in them otherwise?

Oh wait, this isn't 2000 is it?

No Fred...it's not. But riddle me this...what is the difference between a figurehead governor's record and a US Senators record? At least the US Senator has more experience that counts.

And is a president who surrounds himself with a bunch of "yes men" a good thing to have? Even Clinton had some advisors who would provide the "con" view of an issue, so that an intelligent decision could be made. Bush relies on his "gut" instinct after hearing nothing but the "pro" side. One can't make good decisions unless one knows the pros AND the cons.

As for enron...it seems that there is an awful lot of "borderline fraudulent" practices going on at several companies...they may meet the GAAP, but they are still a tad shady. And they are done to influence the stock price.

You talk about wanting to level the playing field, then support removing these double taxes and then these countries would have no incentive to move their headquarters offshore.

Just one example of a US corporation using offshore tax havens which had nothing to do with any 'double tax' on offshore profits.

The position of the IRS:

It is an interesting dichotomy that enables some to argue that US corporations seeking to avoid taxes are not disloyal but individual Americans obtaining prescription drugs from offshore are.

All this aside answer this, why won't John Kerry sign standard form 180 releasing his military records????

WO/drone,
Please provide a link to his refusal.
NWA provided a link for his military record:

Is this not a true? Do you have evidence of something Kerry did wrong, or is it just rumors that are not backed up with facts.
What is a standard form 180?
Thanks

Remember when we all got to see Xrays of Bush's molars? Thats all a 180 does. I dont need to see Xrays of Kerry's innards to decide whom to vote for, and I suspect most people that want to see them have already made up thier minds.

According to the website of the National Personnel Records Center, anyone can fill out a SF-180 to obtain a servicemembers records directly from the NPRC. It does not appear that a servicemembers approval is required and for a servicemember to obtain their own records they do not use the SF-180.

Thanks NWA,
I had the chance to watch a good documentary on Bush and Kerry the other night on BBC.
Of the two canidates I have to say that Kerry stood out way above Bush.
To hear what they say about Kerry and to see the actual true words come out of the mouth of Kerry, just demonstrates the power of a smear campagne and how effective it can be if the people do not check out the facts for themselves.

What I have noticed the most has been a win at any cost for the Bush party.

Throughout history religion has created many atrocities, believing they are doing Gods work.. I sure hope this is never recorded as such.
