What's new

Any one know about this

Whoever is behind will probably remain anonymous. But if he/she came out, it might be a long time before s/he would have to pay for a drink again.

And getting Parker out will accomplish what?

I don't recall that question being part of the OP. What would it accomplish? You tell me, I don't work at US

Consider this however. The person who saw the sticker was so afraid of US Management ferreting them out that they reached out and had a customer post the pic and and ask the question. I think that say a great deal about US Airways Senior Management.

But hey I'm just a member of the oppressed white majority trying to get by in a black man's world

It would get rid of an arrogant guy that has not been able to complete a merger in 6 years and who is more concerned with his golden pocket than anything else.

How about getting a leader?

Oh, I'm sorry, did I stray off topic? No, I didn't know about this. Immature pilots getting their jollies. I've seen it for 30 years.

Is this the latest spin coming out of the pilot group? Parker's fault?

Not so sure about that. Parker's fault? in a way YES. IIRC, Parker at the time immediately after the merger had a window of opportunity to demonstrate some leadership and get involved with the pilot group and hammer out a deal. Why didn't he? Well only Doug knows that and he ain't talking.

My suspicions are that his spreadsheet warriors told him it was cheaper for them to let the pilots duke it out figuring something would fall in line 2 to 3 years down the road. Well hear we are 6 years into the merger and the pilots are still duking it out with no apparent (to me) end in sight. This IMO makes Doug and the rest of the team look impotent and scares away merger partners no mater if US if the Aquiror or Aquiree. Does not do poop for the customer either.

The last really great airline CEO I worked for was Bill Howard. Each time someone different came along after Mr. Howard, the iteration was worse than the previous. I absolutely could not fathom anyone worse than "Just Call Me Dave" Siegel, but there he is sitting in Tempe sipping cocktails.

Speaking of six years into this thing. Was just on a West metal A-320, the F/C bulkhead still had the AWA logo *. And an F/A was wearing a sweater with that logo, too!i

*actually I always thought it was cool one as logos go. But that should be in the airplane, cool or not.

No, if you had half a brain you would know that this is coming from the ENTIRE EMPLOYEE group.
