If he was a pilot, making guarantee, that works out to be $3000 per hour, not including per diem, not including stock options.
He is the boss, so fair's fair, he can earn 10 times what the highest paid pilot earns. So we should all look forward to the new top of scale $300 per hour pay rate!

You know what is so funny? He used to work for Sabre. How pathetic is that. Making 2.7 million for what...sucking the airline dry like all the rest of them. Why can't ANY of them do the right thing. We have everything it takes to bring this airline back to where it was with one exception: the employees we have hired within the past 2 years. When I think of all the great employees that where furloughed from this company to be replaced with this garbage, it shows you one thing, the sandcastle is not interest in running this carrier. The kids just want to, as was done before, make their money, then hit the road. They're disgusting.
He should be fired immediately. He has not done a single thing right. They should have never purchased US Airways. It would have been better to let US Airways go it's own way - what ever that would have been. It's a shame what he has done. All other employees never make mistakes and have great visions for the company and this airline should not tolerate such a poor president. As a matter of fact the airline should eliminate the presidents job and run the airline by employee committee.

you know once you hit a million dollars as pay.. your job now becomes a HOBBY... these folks dont care.. they read these postings eating their popcorn and laughing beyond control. but we will still post and maybe someone out there will CARE. yeah he worked for sabre.. probably didnt like seeing how efficient the system is.. and it cost MONEY.. figured heh i can work with a SUBSTANDARD systen and operate a SUBSTANDARD airline.. a quote from our CEO
