Bill Clinton ll ?

I think this is a bit of a stretch. Kind of like holding W accountable for what he said/did in college.

Assuming half the donations were of $200 or less that comes to about $225 million dollars. Assuming everyone of those donations was $200 (which we know they were not) right there you are looking at over 1.2 million donations what would have to be verified. My guess is a lot of the donations are at the $100 mark or less so you are looking at well over 2 million donations. I do not see how anyone can be expected to verify them all. My guess is that they probably do a random sampling and hope that works. More than likely everyones campaign has a few termites in the wood pile.

I guess you got the memo of "attack his character", "turn the page on the financial crisis"...since you can not win on any of the issues that the electorate care about.

Dude, are you a McCain operative???

Your guy went to DC only after his advisers told him too....the 'I'll be by the phone" gig didn't flush with his handlers.Obama did absolutely nothing when everyone passed the chair to him except spew about the GOP plan which wasn't even on the table.... because Paulson had been slipping him data and not anything to McCain....Paulson have an agenda?

Sorry Dude, I can't let this one slip by.

I know you have a scholarly source for that piece of news.

Dude, are you a McCain operative???

Don't forget,O was presidential...he can multi-task....thats why he was told to go to DC.

Why do you think Reid was all over McCain for nothing getting down?

Was Obama's shining moment and after the gavel was passed in order of stature,Obama pooped on the table.

Everything was fine until McCain showed up

Dell,

Be a bit realistic here.

The republicans would have filed just as the dems did. Do you think the dems would have filed had they known there were bad donations in there? Like I said, given that they more than likely had well over 2 million donations to verify, they were unable to do so and filed. I would guess that both parties do a random sampling.

BTW, did you bother to figure out what percentage the $28,000 is of the $458 million that he collected is? I did a little math, it a hair more than 0.00006% of his total. Do you even think any one notices the money being missing?

As for McCain going to DC. How did that work out? He goes to DC for 24 hours and the measure still fail the House the first time around but the Senate did not vote on it till a few days later. Neither McCain or Obama are on the finance committees so it is not like either would contribute anything. I can just as easily have a discussion with you via video conference as I can in person. The fact that McCain gave up his 'I'm not going to campaign till this is fixed' routine a mere 24 hours after he started it speaks volumes.
