Top Chinese general warns US over attack

China is prepared to use nuclear weapons against the US if it is attacked by Washington during a confrontation over Taiwan, a Chinese general said on Thursday.


“If the Americans draw their missiles and position-guided ammunition on to the target zone on China's territory, I think we will have to respond with nuclear weapons,â€￾ said General Zhu Chenghu.

Well in all fairness I would have to admit that China has a more valid arguement in taking over Taiwan than we did taking over Iraq.

Taiwan was a part of China. The people share the same culture, language, alphabet, race and locality. Anyone I ever met from Taiwan was Chinese.

Boycott Chinese goods? Sure, if I can, but not because of the political posturing of the two governments, the leaders on both sides have too good of a thing going to really do anything so stupid. I'd rather do it to try and save jobs here. The same clowns that lobbied and voted to grant China MFN status are now pounding the drums.
