BREAKING NEWS: DELTA TO OFFER SEVERANCE TO 30000 EMPLOYEES

Has your company sent out any info regarding the terms of the separation? Any cash/benefits/travel?? Just curiious. Over here at US they had a limited buyout for 314 but only filled 130 ish. Buyout was 10K, but no benefits. If Delta were to offer some health benefits(at least for a time) they might get a lot of interested people.

Yes, I toatally agree ! I'm glad DL didn't take NW under it's wing. DL doesn't need all the extra commotion going on at NW, what with SCABS doing your maintanence work, unions crying "What about me" and pilots not being happy with a possible 30% pay increase !

And we all now know why SW has always shown a profit ! Maintanence.............what maintanence !

With oil prices seeing no end in sight "ALL" airlines better be concerned, some are taking a pre-emptive measures now, while others are sitting back waiting to see what the other guy is going to do . It's the airline way !
