Since the 'upgrade',
1) I get numerous "SQL database" errors,
2) slow to "NEVER (without a browser reboot)" load,
3) search engine is FUBAR

Hey MODS, do you want to fix these problems or not?
FYI, It's not just me.

Not so much errors with OSx but I get browser restarts with no reason. Sometimes the site just locks for 15 minutes at a time.

I have not tried with a windows system..

Funny. When I try and post this, I get the endless "spinning wait ball" .

I wonder if this will ever post, or it may post 3 times...

Yeah, I'm getting a little tired of the endless waits for a post to update, and the new "only 5 minutes to edit a post" especially when it takes two to four minutes to have the post update in the first place.

I do not use some of the other functions that people are mentioning but the slowness is beyond irritating and the deletion of the spell check (even in FF) is just plain stupid. I always thought the spell check was a FF function? You have to really go out of your way to make that not compatible. I have not run across a site yet (with the exception of this little gem) that spell check does not work on.

We are moving the site to a new server which will fix the issues. Target is July 1st. Please be patient until it gets migrated. In the mean time, I have disabled resource intensive functions which should help with some of the hang-ups. (Online Member List, Search, and PMs are temporarily disabled)
