At what point since obtaining my CPL should the Vortex begin arriving in my mailbox? Do I need to register for it?

When did you get your ticket?

I received a call from a guy last week who obtained his licence last June and still hasn't received a Vortex. When I checked the list, he was there, but I don't know when he was added.

Bottom line, send me your address info at vardyb@tc.gc.ca - I'll forward you a few issues and ensure you're on the list. You can also log on to www.tc.gc.ca/vortex and get it online. Our group just lost control of the web site, and a special 'web team' has taken it over. Issue 1/2003 hasn't even made it on there yet, so I guess the team needs a little work

If your "web team" is anything like ours CTD I wouldn't hold my breath waiting. They're so understaffed they spend 99% of their time fixing old snags, new stuff piles up and collects dust. Maybe TC should strike a deal with CAaviation.com to list it here if Kyle is interested.
