Cape Town - The complete disruption of air traffic in and out of Cape Town International Airport for about seven hours on Sunday - its busiest day of the week - cost airlines "hundreds of thousands of rands", according to Stuart Cochrane, commercial executive of British Airways/Comair, and Vernon Bricknell, the executive chairman of Nationwide.
