What?....Was I suppose to be somewhere?!?!
AFTER widening her waistline on rich French food, a stowaway cat returned home to Wisconsin yesterday.
Emily, a one-year-old tabby whose ordeal has made her a celebrity, swatted at the glaring cameras of reporters before sinking back into the welcoming arms of her owners, Lesley McElhiney and her nine-year-old son Nick.

...

After a 30-day quarantine, Emily was scheduled to travel in a crate in the aircraft's hold, said Joelle de Becker, from office supply firm Raflatac, which looked after her for two months.

However, the US airline Continental offered her a seat in "business-first" class, accompanied by an employee.

Continental’s Flight Attendants, however, are in a furor over the upgrade to BusinessFirst, since the company is demanding concessions, which include downgrading their crew rest seats from BusinessFirst to economy class.

Continental responded to the uproar claiming that pu**y is very popular in Europe, particularly in France, and therefore the cat upgrade would bring a lot of free publicity to the airline.

Word quickly spread among the feline community about Continental’s generous offering of upgrading stray cats to BusinessFirst seats. Many cat owners are reporting their cats have run away. A family in West Virginia recently contacted Continental claiming their cat was found in Beijing, China and the airline quickly agreed to reciprocate the same gesture they did for Emily.

In her weekly voice mail to flight attendants, Christi Pointless reported the company will remove all poultry and egg choices from China flights (due to the bird flu scare) and increase the dim sum provisioning to 100 percent.   But they still serve omlettes for breakfast?

All jokes aside, i agree Continental made a wonderful decision. I heard aboutit on cable news and read about it in USAToday. I can't fathom the airline i am associated with would do the same. Kudos to CO!!
