Checked bag fees
US Airways charges a $15 fee for your first checked bags. If you purchased a ticket before July 9, 2008, the first bag fee won’t apply. We also now charge $25 for all second checked bags. The checked bag policies apply to all flights to and from Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as flights within the U.S.

Airports that offer Curbside check-in will assess a $2 Curbside check-in fee in addition to all checked baggage fees incurred (credit card payments only, gratuities not accepted).

Baggage fees and rules of the operating carrier apply on all flights operated by one of our codeshare partners. Please check with the operating carrier for rules and regulations.

Does US Charge anything for Checking 1 Bag to Europe?

That is a two part answer , say you fly US ORD PHL LHR all the way on US you can check 2 bags free up to 50 LBS, third bag is a charge. If you fly US ORD PHL and BA PHL LHR you pay the bag fee because you are OAL to the gateway. Many passengers get upset when QIK charges like this. There are few exception to the rule if you are flying to Japan.

OK thank You. The way they had it explained on their website, left me to have questions. I will be originating and terminating in PHL so the one bag check fee is free. All they have written on the website is Carribbean, South America. Canada. Thank You for the assistance.
