Cheerleader Camp August 7th

i will be there in tomorrow the 8th at 1430. i was told by a a friend of mine in the west that it was very informative . and it looks like they are trying. sherri even said that the food we serve in envoy and coach was "crap" and it needs to change. give it a chance. i am going in with an open mind. if they tell us to keep it hush hush then i am going to have to do that. if not , i will tell you guys what i thought about it. the next meeting will be in oct in phx. i am looking foward to going to see what the inflight leadership has to say.

etops, honestly, i admire your postive outlook, loyalty to your employer, and pride in the service you provide--I think it is commendable--however, do you really think that anyone should be giving these people anymore chances? They have not followed through with one thing they have ever promised. They talk and talk and talk and blah blah blah blah--I mean how many times has everyone on the East been promised glassware? Or how about that better FC product that was coming in June? How about those improved wines? How about a website that was going to be reliable? How about the "kinks" being worked out of the SHARES/QIK system? Sooner or later you have to say to them until you prove that you are not the liars, thieves, and fools you appear to be, F you. How can you stand behind them when they are allowing their planes to fly around covered in duct tape? Or, with computer paper taped to a wall for a screen? Or, a plane allowed to go to Europe with no catering in Envoy? Enough is enough.

Indeed, they are very trying.

Perhaps were you to quit presenting your hind-quarters to the nearest management tongue, you might have some credibility in this area.

yfare, i know exactly what you mean and beleive me i feel your anger and mistrust in this management team. i am not standing behind them i am just trying to keep an open mind on what they have to say. beleive me if i think for a minute that this is going no where i will not be a part of this. i know your angry and upset at our management team. so am i. i am frankly embarrased to be working for this airline right now. but i have to beleive that we can do and be better. and if i can be a part of that in anyway , i will. i don't know what else to say. and your right , ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!

so i am the bad guy now because i joined a focus group? everyone who joined the focus group is dirinknig the kool-aid is that what your saying? hey buddy , i am pissed to but if i can put my 2 cents into trying to make the inflight experience a better one then i am gonna try. like i said if it's a bunch of bs then i will have no part of it . have a good night my friend.

Drink that kool-aid and lick that lollipop....PPPllleassee, I am so tired of the crap that management puts out there and - the ding dong f/as bite every time - how pathetic... Better this Better that - give it up -- show something for it... don't just say it...

Exactly. Put up or shut up! 2 months they meet again? In 2 months we will be even further in the hole. Keep diggin Tempe. Can someone page Sherry Groff out in LA? Bring her scarf wearing self back! At least she did something and kept the minimal product intacted. Then again last I hear she is some big wig at Carnival Cruises. Lord help us for wanting that back.
 
I mean, doesn't anyone have any cojones to say in the meeting, WHAT THE FRIG ARE YOU PEOPLE DOING????? They don't want you talking about this stuff because they know once you start talking about what is said, you'll realize how hollow their promises ring and how silly what they have said sounds. What happens at these meetings---OK, people, we Suck, I mean really, we suck. So, let's come back in two months and we'll talk about how we suck even more. Rah Rah. Remember, YOU make US Fly because we the management sure as hell aren't doing a good job at it.

WHAT??? On a public forum, I have always respected your opinions. But, all of a sudden when you have been invited to join, you are going to keep it Hush! Hush! Give me a break! Have another sip of Kool-Aid. No more credibility for you. So sad! Another one bites the dusty.

well, i just had a veteran westie translate "2 months" from english to business casual...and, apparently, the rough translation means...NEVER!!
these upgrades were publically promised on APRIL 26!! and, like all things tempe, no returns.
well, i am sorry, there were returns on their word: state of the art 8 1/2 x 11 pieces of copier paper as a viewing screen on select 767 transatlantic flights.

These people are wasting their time. They applied for and were interviewed to be a part of the "Focus groupie" er.... Focus group. Get some new lipstick and pucker UP!!

Actions speak louder than words and honey there aint been no action goin on here for quite some time!
As a matter of fact what's up with Philly catering? No packers? We were told this on 2 separate occasions this weekend. "What's on the truck (coke, diet coke) is all I got so don't be askin for anything else on a count of no packers".

ahh we did not get interviewed . and did not apply . we just sent in an e-mail telling them we were interested in joining. get your facts straight before you say anything. this was open to ALL flight attendants. and nick , you gotta understand my posistion here. if you really want to know what was said then pm me. i am sure none of it will be a secret so i will be back tomorrow evening with a follow up if it's ok to do so. nothing personel. relax. and lets not turn this into a lets bash on etops thread. i have done nothing wrong . i had the right to join this focus group just as all f/a did. you people really are quick to insult people when nothing wrong was done. listen i know you are all pissed at the company with every right. so am i . but i am not gonna sit on these baords and #### and moan about it. might as well try to do something to fix the problems or at least give my insight. will they listen? i hope so . if not , so then i waisted my time .i can admit that. i will just move along. it's no big deal . i can handle it. hey i have been handling it for 10 yrs now. bitching and moaning and calling people kool-aid drinkers or cheer leaders and other childish crap is not gonna fix the problems. you people hide behind these boards . many of you know me and you know i mean well. if you do not agree with what i am doing then say so but don't insult me. let me know the next time you see me in the crew room. have a good night guys. get some rest . many of you need it .
