Continental Airlines to Cut Capacity Amid Lower Revenue, Higher Costs

How many MD80s does continental have? Will this be the last of them or the start of the end of them, like the AA F100?

Some of the not-so-public information regarding CO's new moves include doubling their service charges for buddy passes, charging more for employee travel, and cutting their Ford Explorer drawings (for employees with perfect attendance) to one a year.

Another idea being discussed is following in the footsteps of some banks, charging customers a service fee for getting assistance from their personnel at the counter.

If my figures are correct, they currently have 35 in service, so after these further 11 are parked they will only have 24 left. Confirmation from CO employee on this?
