American Airlines is cutting flights and raising fares due to the surge in jet fuel costs. ($109 per barrel).
I was wondering how long it would take before the airline industry started cutting flights. Now I wonder if the same could happen to US on the low load flights. 🙁

The only reason Parker kept him on board is he is a great hatchet man.

We've already trimmed our flight schedule from our peak summer schedule to the fall. We are also constantly reducing flying due to the retirement of airplanes. 6 airplanes are currently parked in PIT and CLT awaiting return to lease holders. This is on top of the 25-30 that have already left the fleet. Trust me, we are doing more then our fair share of capacity reductions.
