After reading all the vitriole regarding the Helicopter article on longlining (which I always thought was how I used to jig for ling cod back in my youth in BC) I was hesitant to bring this topic up in the Heli section. 😛

On the cover of this month's Helicopter is a nice shot of a 407 -- anyone we know driving it?

BTW 407, how's the golf course doing at Golden as we are heading there on the May long weekend

Weren't me, it was ALA from Canmore, not sure who was flying it.
The YGE course is now open, it's looking a bit like the snow just left the fairways, but the greens look great! I ruined a few putts today with a high speed pass (or 2) in the '12 Gotta love the sound of a 100 Kt medium 😀

Call me, I may be able to dig up some free green fee passes (translation, bring beer!)

depending on the wx and the state of the moon phases etc, might get up there on the May long weekend for a round with Mrs G1 who always beats me <_<
