From the Boston Globe
---DELTA TO CLOSE BOSTON RES CENTER---
Citing the recent jetBlue announcement of massive expansion in Boston, Delta announced plans to close its Boston reservations call center Sept.
1, a move that will eliminate about 353 positions. The airline, which
next month will move into the newly renovated Terminal A at Boston Logan,
notified workers of the closing this week. Delta is also closing a
similar reservations center in Los Angeles at the same time, eliminating a
total of 403 telephone sales jobs at that center. All workers will be
offered other positions with the airline. Delta will keep open nine other
call centers around the country

Nothing from Delta has ever been said that the closing of the BOS res office was due to a Jet Blue expansion there....Even the story on the boston globe website, which you reference - http://www.boston.com/business/articles/20...r_cut_353_jobs/ - never mentions that the closing is due to JetBlue expansion...or am I reading the wrong article?

Heck, I do not know, just pasted it from another board. Perhaps someone got creative.
