[FONT face="Times New Roman" size=3]Darryl Jenkins, head of George Washington University's Aviation Institute, said the blame falls on United's financial executives, who, he said, aggressively pushed United to acquire US Airways for $60 a share "when it was worth $20."[/NITF]

Why isn't this article posted on the United board? It's all about the reasons that United didn't get the ATSB loan guarantee, and there are only a couple of very minor mentions of US Airways. Furthermore, why wasn't this article placed in the same thread as the other Washington Post article posted at about the same time?

Obviosuly they need to clean house in management...starting with Brace. I wondor if Tilton will survive this. Whomever invests to bring them out of CH11 may want their own management team.
