Some great numbers reported for Delta. I believe the 1.1 billion matches the 2019 1.1 billion in earnings for 4th Q.
Congrats to all the Delta employees with 1.4 billion going to PS payout for the full year, which spells out to around 10% of employees earnings.
Great way to start out the industries earnings report for 2023. Also great timing to fend off the ugly rumor of the teamsters trying to get their foot in the door for TRYONG to represent the Mechanics group as well as other industry unions TRYING to get in at Delta. With all the changes since 2020, folks leaving, folks moving into better positions, better days off and an overall better QOL, and now a fantastic PS payout coming on Valentines Day again, as Kev. has stated, it would be hard for a union to come in at this time.
