Well it should come as no surprise that the Empty Suit would seek to regulate yet another portion of our economy.

One of the problems is few understand the difference a law and a regulation. A law is passed by elected representatives of the people. A regulation is implemented by an agency NOT elected by the people. It really is that simple.

And we don't elect the SCOTUS. We have a representative republic. You dont like agencies or regulations, get your guys elected and they can change it. Simple.

Why has GOP Nebraska Governor delayed Keystone Pipeline by more than a year?

(Reuters) - Nebraska GOP governor Dave Heineman signed into law on Tuesday bills to reroute the Keystone XL pipeline away from the ecologically sensitive Sandhills region.

One bill puts into law a compromise agreed with Keystone pipeline builder TransCanada to move the route away from the Sandhills and the Ogallala aquifer. The second bill approves state funding for an environmental study for a new pipeline route not to exceed $2 million.

By law, the governor now has the final say in state government on the new route. The U.S. Secretary of State has the final say nationally.

After working with Nebraska lawmakers last week, TransCanada Corp. agreed to find a new route for its pipeline. A decision that set back the $7 billion, Canada-to-Texas pipeline by more than a year.

The BOLD is mine! The concern is NE has been the Ogallala Aquifer as it always has been. The Aquifer covers parts of 7 States and is vital to the Midwest. As the article states the NE legislature has put the ball in the Governors court and if they can put the pipeline in a safer place that's a good idea. The way things work is the the Gov. can be in favor and approve until he's rhree hundred years old. If Obama Lama Ding Dong says no it doesn't matter. GOT IT? Good?

You think I would make the claim up just to make a point and have nothing to back it up? How about Britain in 1971 converting $3 billion in US currency to gold. France did something similiar that same year. Now these are two allies that did this. Gold reserves in the USA dropped from 20000 tons to 8500 tons. Ron Paul never mentions this doe he?
