Did we get our COLA for last year?

Last year, soaring gas prices sent the Consumer Price Index skyward, and in October the Social Security Administration set the cost of living increase at 5.8% for 2009.


What did we get for a raise last year or the last six for that matter....

You posted this, and I was just telling my wife tonight, that the bills are getting bigger, and I am losing ground.

Savings are going down, to almost nil.

If we would this company like I run my household, we would be rich!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As for rough economic times? Tried to get into PF Changs last night.. 70 minute wait.... Hmmm,, this economy blows...

Losing ground? We've been drowning for so long we can hardly remember what having ground to lose is!!
Home Equity loans, 401K loans, thats the only way I've made it to this point, however the water is getting deeper. My wife finishes school in the spring so hopefully after that we will be headed towards the shore.

Since the contract/ABORTION that went into effect in 03' did Not contain(I think) any ..COLA's, and no "new" contract has been Implemented to replace the 03' MESS,......I'm curious as to why any COLA's were expected ????
