What's new

Don Carty's new airline job

MMMMMMM. Gouda Cheese AND a turkey sandwich. Now them's some good eats--refined and high-tone, too.

(I bet it's not as good as our $4 snack box.)

I thought DC was working for Sir Richard Branson on his Virgin America airline.

He's the non-executive Chairman of both, which is unusual but not unheard of. Basically, Branson hired him as a figurehead to help with negotiations at the DOT, and Porter brought him onboard for name recognition with the banks.

Frankly, I don't give a damn what Carty is doing. He's gone, and that's all that matters.

When Carty goes to the bank do you think he walks in with his hand still stuck in the cookie jar? I too am glad the greedy bastard is gone.
