Doug Parker take note

Hold on Philly Rocks! IAM1776PHL was only quoting Spin Doc. Re Read please.

"Sacrfices are sometimes necessary to reach a long term positive result, ect..." Oh really Spin Doc. And what sacrfices has Doug made to achieve these results? That has always been management's mantra: As long as it's someone else doing the sacraficing it's OK right! Spin Doc when you treat people with respect and dignity, they will in turn treat you in kind. When will you corperate terrorist realize that employees are assets and not liaabilities? The profits that you and your fellow bootlickers drool over are much greater when you have a well paid happy employee. Branson and Southwest have been around for decades now. Haven't you idiots learned anything from them in all this time?

I believe that Sir Richard is a "royal" pain to work for. I think in the past he has had quite abit of labor unrest and he pays his employees a pitance. He does put on quite the show; however, he is not the person to work for...but neither is Dougweiser.

IAM1776PHL

''I think the union employees at US are overlooking the long term opportunities that are being offered in the current contract negotiations.

Long term job security is MUCH more important that short term gain. Think about it''

Phl voted 816 to 65 against...Job security is an issue for everyone not the select few.
Didn't you read the ''Full Time / Part Time Ratio'' would be eliminated in this agreement.
A full time employee could easily take the place of 2 part time employees'. Thats' another
reason this was voted down so strongly in PHL (among many). That TA did not offer much.
Remember this agreement should have been about Plus's not Minus's, coming from a profitable
airline made profitable by the employees. My comment on Branson is that I read once that when
his company would lose money, he would look to give his employees more. He knew they were
the face of his company and in bad times he needed to turn it around through his work force.

Thanks

How could you call yourself a union member if you cannot protect full time careers?

Anyway it is over for now, the no vote is the strong vote, until the next round.....

Branson has to be better person to work for than DoUgIe

Thanks redeye....Branson has a private island in the Caribbean and yes he does make it avaible for use by his employees on vacation.
Where is Parker's island and how do I make a reservation.
DP's island is located between the barstools and the bartender.....

Wow, hey Spin Doc, when is Doug going to start spreading the wealth. The only reason this company is profitable, is because of the wage and benefit reductions forced on us by the bankrupcy court, not anything Dougie and his bafoons in Tempe have done. What happens when the current contracts expire, chapter 11 part three. If you think Doug will ever give anything back voluntarily, well, whose being naive.
