I asked this same question a while back and all I've been told is that the company is paying him to do nothing. This in exchange for selling out his membership. What good is Gordon Clark doing not having to work his job and being paid to work for the union. What is his job?
Rather than outsouce those 757's open MCI back up and make right what was wrong, we are all union brothers aren't we?AA'S paying those hanger lease payments anyway.I asked this same question a while back and all I've been told is that the company is paying him to do nothing. Yes that is truly the big picture. The chosen few (sellouts) get everything, the rest of us get screwed. 😉No problem, the TWU membership will soon give up their early retirement health care to accomodate/fund Clark and the others being paid by AA to do "nothing".
That's the big picture.

I heard it was political action and organizing.
But he is being paid by AA. Does AA now have an organizing unit? Is that truly the big picture in that Gordon is out there organizing other airlines on behalf of AA in order to drive up there costs?I heard it was political action and organizing.
He is working or is waiting to assist the local 514 prez in opeining MCI back up vs outsourceing to Roswell the 757's they had in mind so he say's however if you read an email I recieved you might think he is a company auditor. I recently asked a fairly high ranking union official who seemed to me to justify closeing MCI down by his comments on this forum if he or anyone in the twu recieved the cost saveings associated with the closeing, you know the fairy flights up here even though most either came in and or went out on a revenue flight. Still waiting for a reply.I heard it was political action and organizing.
