It seems flights operated with this aircraft have horrible reliability ratings--oftentimes 10%. What's the deal with these flights?
Isn't that the truth. Whomever creates these schedules really needs a good KICK IN THE ARSCE! An ontime arrival in PHL is not out of the realm of possibilities but gate congestion usually impedes anything being early. But really......31minutes. I would like to see anyone deplane and clean an a/c in 1 minute. It can't be done, and with pax enplanement 30 minutes prior to departure- They Continue to Destroy any integrity to the schedule. With the layout of PHL, nothing should even be attempted with less than 45 minutes IMO.That is GENIUS. LOL.![]()
45 Minutes on a good day! And that's rushing it quite a bit. Get weather or traffic holds, and whamo, your late. They should pad the schedules alittle more too. No one complains when the plane arrives early, but they do when your late. What US needs to do is run more mainlines at less frequent frequencies than all those RJ's. They are the problem. MCI, MSP, IAH, STL and other cities can be better off with M/L, just at less frequencies. Just time them better, if there is to be 3 flights space them out accordingly. In the long run it problably a break even with the flight, but it would create less congestion. PHL does have its flaws, but work the schedule out to benefit the company, not strap it.. With the layout of PHL, nothing should even be attempted with less than 45 minutes IMO.

I have READ that there are MAJOR SOFTWARE issues with the E-190 any PILOTS want to TELL US MORE. The e-170 and e-175 come in and out of my station only problem we have is that in this day and age of COMPUTERS.. seems the flight deck is doing weight and balance MANUALLY corrrect me if I am WRONG.......you finish boarding and takes 5-10 min for the flight deck to complete the WEIGHT & BALANCE
The E170 and E175 are not operated by US Airways, they are Express, Republic. Express flights do weight and balance differently than mainline, they use some sort of spinning wheel and a pencil and fill out a sheet of paper.
