Rumor is that all the east 75's were parked today due to an AD not being or not sure of being complied with when a/c was with the previous carrier to Airways.. Panel on bottom of wing comes off takes two brake lines with it when it happens. Inspected all A/C last night and found 3 more with cracked brackets that hold on the panel resulting in todays parking. Anyone??

Besides the 3 57's from TZ and however many there are that are left from EA (like 6 or 7) all of the others were delivered new to US so that would not ground the entire 57 fleet if it was an AD that applied to airplanes that were acquired from another carrier.

Two 57's at PHX were repaired and returned to service.

A friend of mine told me that we 999 4 757 flights to hawaii. Fun.

Could be worse, there could have been like AA and grounded 200

Completely inaccurate. No Hawaii flights were cancelled. Minimal customer impact. There are more then 6-7 Eastern 757's.

I think there were only 11(ish) and some were parked. N618AU was one that comes to mind but with the tail numbers changing I'm not sure which ones are left. I'm only talking about the East 57 fleet though.

600, 601, 602, 603, 604, 605, 606, 607, 608, 609 and 618 on the east side before being renumbered were the only former Eastern Birds in the US/East Fleet.

618 was a lease return during bankrutpcy.
