Ec120 Around Huntsville?

Doing photography yesterday, saw a beautiful all red 120 buzzing around Huntsville. Tried to raise them on radio. Whose bird is that? In fact, it could have even been a B4, didn't get that close, wasn't sure if pilot had seen me.

shark man - that 120 belongs to a private owner from the big smoke area, it was /is? out of Buttonville. So I hear you are starting a new rating?? 😀

It's definitely an EC120, T5 is right, private businessman based out of YKZ uses it to visit the cottage. Beautiful bird! FJDZ is the ident.

Another outfit like that is moving into my area, I'm sure they will give the locals a run for their money! Never know it may be time for me to try to jump aboard. Not to worry PJ, I'm not trying to remain too incognito. I hear Jon left those guys too. Probably a wise choice....they're kind of a 'sinking ship' nowadays anyways. I'm sure there'll be room in N. Ont. for another one of those companies soon.....they aren't folding up for lack of work, thats for sure.

T5, the rumors seem to be true, should be rated by the new year...the boss wants me to start earning my keep!

Now I am really stumped, Bruised Armpit do I know you as well?? As for work in Northern Ontario, there is plenty of it. Its funny how I have been on the locals tails trying to get them into this type of work and they never considerd it until now. I guess that is what completion does. I just hope that the rates don't go down hill....its getting scary around here lately...getting more difficult for a profit come year end. As for us lowitmers...well things must be picking up, we can count Sharky as one more who seems to have made it. Congrats Sharky.

Jon's leaving was his own choice. I tried to talk him into at least sticking it out for the winter but I guess he'd had enough. To be fair, he lasted 2 and a half seasons longer than most would have down there. I have no idea what he has planned.

You're right Sharkette, it isn't from the lack of work. We're busier now than we have been in the last 3 years, and there isn't much sign of a slow down yet...

That said, I think things are about to change.

BA, to answer your question, looks like I won't be getting my extended vacation this year. This is good. Can't say anything else yet.
