What's new

Elites leaving in droves!

On a side note I have been through PHL 8 times this summer and the opperation while busy and stressed seem pretty darn good!
WOW--You lucky boy you !!! Try going through on a weekly basis---or even better, being based there ! 8 times over the summer would be a Godsend to me !
Try this, my last trip this week, we pushed back in PHL at 18:35 to go to Indy---finally at 22:10 we took off. Block time was over 5 hours.....and that was just this week.
Pretty darn good you say ??? I want some of what you're on.

The number of CP's I know personally who are gone alone add up to about $1M a year in revenue.
Hey Art,
This last trip I am flew is proof that you all have jumped ship. I have never seen F/C so empty.... or full with pax who obviously ended up there by accident.
Just wanted to say to you and the rest of the CP-----a great big thanks for helping to pay my mortgage for who knows how many years......you guys were all very faithful when you should have left as soon as you saw the way Dougie was running this airline. I so wish US hadn't treated you all like crap.
Thanks Again !!!

Songbirdstew,

I am sure we would rather thank YOU and your colleagues for all you have done for us to keep us around as long as we stayed. As I said above, what I miss the most is the people-some of whom I have gotten to know very well over the years.

Let's hope things change, and soon. But rest assured, although I have had to take my air travel business elsewhere for now, I haven't given up the fight.

Thanks again, and please fly safe.

My best to you all.....

My home airport only has three carriers (DL, NW, US), so I will have to still fly US sometimes. However, Sky Team is looking very promising, especially CO. I have driven 2-3 hours to other airports to fly CO. Their management gets it. It has been a very difficult experience moving away from a wonderful carrier and team of employees that served me well since I took my first Piedmont flight in 1986. 🙁

That said, there you go Doug.
Here's another one for Dougie & the pack.
John McCain had a fund raiser in Pittsburgh today and could not make it thanks to USAirways!
Former Governor Tom Ridge had to fill in for him and he (Ridge) said on the 6pm news &
I quote "the airline (US) is not particularly reliable these days, anyone who has flown this summer knows that".
John McCain spoke to the crowd via the phone asking for donations.

Dougie would you consider making a donation since your airline couldn't get him there? 🙄

Pathetic!

Ironic in a way, since Mccain was against the UA/US merger some years ago. <_<

Was he flying PHX-PIT? Southwest has one non-stop a day, but that's coach which most politicians can't handle.
