Thank you so much for publishing that list. My, we're dropping like flies. I expect there to be many more, myself included, before the end of the year, when COBRA runs out for the senior 1800 TWAers. It might now occur to the nAAtives, that there isn't much to worry about in regards to seniority.

Could you publish such a list here each month?

WOW! There are 10 F/A's with 40+ yrs that are calling it quits. They know what it is like to fly on props that held 100 passengers. They have all seen it go from white gloves and everyone dressed up to tennis shoes and tank tops.
Congratulations to you all on a tremendous career.

I salute them all.

I personally believe that anyone at retirement age should take their pensions and run like a fat man chasing a donut.

I am afraid these will be referred to in years to come as the good ole days.

How sad isnt it.

Can someone who has access to aafltsvc tell us what the attrition rate was for September?
Thanks

It may be a little higher, but based on resignations, retirements, and Article 30, that's pretty close. Terminations for cause and recall refused bring that up by a few.

No, the attrition rate number includes terminations for cause. When the company publishes the attrition rate, it includes all "quits, dies, retired, and fired" from active employees. They consider people on leave as active, but not furloughees; therefore, refusal of recall does NOT count in attrition because until we are actually back on the payroll we are not employees. We are former employees with right of recall. People who did not return from overage leave are counted in the attrition rate because they were considered to be current employees.
