It's been a while since I needed to know what fare buckets coach to first upgrades to.... And while I'm asking, what are the fare class for free tickets both domestically and over the pond?

Any body know for sure?

Looks like upgrades into Envoy use R. A is an upgrade to First.

well depending on which fare you upgrade from E and P are upgraded FC fares

US has more than 2 different comp upgrade codes, I know that for sure, but how many excatly I do not know for sure.

HP side upgrades to O class. Award seats are booked in O for first, and X for coach on mileage saver award levels. Premium award levels (read: twice the mileage price) are booked from straight F or Y classes (hence double the price, for the convience).

I actually just learned that USeast allowed elite upgrades from a premium award yesterday. There is no confirmed yes or no answer yet on that one, so stay tuned =)
