I too had a sense of nostalgia tonight when I signed out of Quik. You see the last time I signed out of Sabre I never thought I'd be saying Thanks for Flying USAirways again and that was 6 years ago. Now I'm happy to be connecting with some of my olf friends again and again saying Thanks for flying USAirways. It's a much better airline now--thanks to HP.

First off, HP did NOTHING to improve US Airways. They are gonna reconfig the A321 that can barely do trans cons now? Put more seats in that you can sell, then bump the additional passengers off so the plane can make it with out nose diving in the Rockies! That's a great thing HP did for US.

Make seat pitch 30-31 inches! Another Great Thing HP done for US! (Even Southwest gives more)

Charge for a First Class and give nothing for it. Another Great Thing HP done for US.

Devalue the FF Program, Another Great Thing HP done for US

Make a Profit. The Great Thing US done for HP!

Have you been drinking? LMAO As a customer the only improvement I have seen seen is new seats & fresh paint in the terminal in PHL. Everything else has been worst IMO.

7:38 a.m. EST - I just checked the website, Orbitz, Expedia, and Travelocity. US site down; only Travelocity lists US flights as options for travel. Wonder how much this will cost US?

7:45 a.m. EST - website up, was able to check in online.
Maybe they meant 2 - 4 am Tempe time (ha, ha)

7:53 a.m. EST - hey, it just went down again, but I have my BPs. Hope they will let me through security with them because they look different! :unsure:

It's hard to comprehend Sabre being superior for the folks who have only used QIK over Shares. There is no argument, Sabre was (is) a superior operating system for the travel industry. QIK is from the mindset of a young airline and it hasn't been fine tuned to the degree of Sabre. Perhaps with all of the new east users, we can pass along our experiences anda get QIK up to "speed".

Okay. Maybe I forgot that a lot of people have been trained in Sabre. My fault. Take a quirky overlay like QIK, add it in, and you got a nice system that is unreliable.

Wow.. you think I actually like QIK? You have to use keyboard with it still, it doesn't like you clicking the buttons with your mouse!

I think some child ~12 wrote that program.. ROFL.. "Look mom, I learned visual basic!"
