Hmmm, if fish was the OP then you all would be screaming for a cornfield trip.....and yeah, wait until oil goes BACK to $45 barrel.

I'm not defending fish because his posts are usually very shallow.

But a Greek chorus is always a good thing and UA probably would not reside in BK now if they had listened to other voices.

I have the sneaking suspicion that when UA dumped a ton of cash into Wolf's pockets, the BK planning was already underway in Elk Grove...When we had idiot Supervisors chanting "take it back" and Goodwin outlining plans with a security contingent prior to The Summer of Hell, it seemed something was up. They took it back alright....what a way to do it. BK was the only way to get the stock out of the employees' hands after all--either that or an expensive buyout--and we all know how cheap these guys are with respect to the 'subordinate class' working for them.

at this point, it goes beyond pensions, paycuts, staff reductions, increased hours, etc. it boils down to oil.....for EVERYONE, not just UAL. sick

UniTED, ATTENTION!!!! FISH IS STILL HERE, he will continue to watch from the side lines as UniTED goes through the exit process. And a LONG HARD exit process it will be. And oil, nobody will see $45 to $50 a barrel for oil EVER AGAIN!So as the anylysts say, if you built your recovery on $50 a barrel for oil, ITS OK TO DREAM BIG! Remember your management team has said they'll make a 300 MIL + profit for 2006! GOD it is fun to dream!
