I hear its round up time at the PHL airport.
Those five-fingered 'wage enhancment' techniques are starting to get noticed.

My oh my Boys, what brain-iac told you that stealing goverment laptops was a good idea?
The Feds are finally starting to notice that sort of stuff.

so how do we improve the Philly airport? Move it to another state 😀

I've talked with a bunch of ramper friends at PHL (I used to be one) and have heard nothing of the sort. Where are you hearing this from?

Heard the same today. People caught in a sting.

Good riddance to them. They give the honest rampers, who are a vast majority, a bad name.

Hey its true the company created this mess by its hiring methods. The crowd that gets in the front door at 9.59 an hour I assume found out that by fencing stolen items they can make a couple of hundred extra a day by getting it out the back door.

The company is getting exactly what they deserve.

Amen to that!

Ya think they make it to become a CEO?

Move over Dougie!!

And you think this is only happening at US. I remember reading about drug operations being busted out of BOS and MIA a few years back. There was a theft ring busted in CVG when i was working there.

And at Pan Am years ago at JFK, LGA and MIA.

Cocaine trafficing.

Oh please. .these people probably would have still stolen if they made $20/hour. It's called having a lack of morals.

They are just following the lead of CCY and Tempe Executives, who stole our pensions, wages and numerous other things.

....lack of morals, maybe. Lack of work ethic and 'something for nothing'-- that's who we're getting. I can't tell you how many of them I've come across sleeping in the cargo hold or just standing around doing absolutely nothing. Be waiting for a plane that they KNOW is in-range? Right. Make an effort to pull up their damn pants from around their knees and hurry to marshall a plane in? Haha...that'll be the day. These guys (80% of 'em or so) couldn't care less....about anything but getting out of work.

Example: At about 5 mins AFTER we were scheduled to pushback last week, there were two guys at the baggage door with a PILE of bags to load-- doing nothing. One sitting on a bag, the other laying down in the cargo hold. So ridiculous it was almost funny. Still, I asked the guy sitting what they were waiting for and he said(exactly his words) "I aint here to work THAT hard"..."we need more help"...."I aint throwin' these bags by myself...sh*t..." :censored:

Gotta say that it really pissed me off  , but what can you really do? Load the bags yourself? The only real option to get anything moving sometimes is to call a supervisor. We did just that and 20 mins after we should have been gone the cargo door was finally closed. Absolutely ridiculous, not to mention embarrasing.

I say we go to these lawn companies and hire as many Mexicans as we can! Seriously, those guys get sh** done and never complain!!

Ahhh, once again, a useless analogy from the union apologist. Answer a question for me, if you please. If CCY and Tempe did not terminate pensions and lower wages, would you or many other US/HP employees still have a job? I think not, because without the restructuring, both companies would have become defunct, ie. EAL, PAA, etc.

Keep spreading the union protectionist gospel.
